Hi, I’m Beth—your host at Gateway Mahjong. I’ve always loved games (the kind with rules, strategy, and plenty of laughs), especially when they bring people together around a table. When I discovered American Mahjong, I was truly hooked—not just by the tiles, but by how effortlessly the game creates meaningful, in-person connections.​

I started Gateway Mahjong to build a community of friends and neighbors who want to step away from screens, gather face-to-face, and enjoy a game that’s as social as it is satisfying—one tile, one laugh, and one “Mahj!” at a time.
